Agri-Environmental Programme Appeals
Participants of the Waters of LIFE pilot agri-environmental programme have the right to appeal a decision made by the Project Team.
This is confirmed in the terms and conditions of the programme.
To appeal a decision of the Project Team, the participant must request the
Project Team undertake a review of the decision.
This must be done within two months of the date the participant was informed of the disputed decision.
The appeal procedure is a two stage process.
1. Re-examination of the issue by the Project Team.
2. If the participant is not satisfied with the outcome of the review, they
may choose to make a formal appeal to an Appeals Commissioner who
will be appointed to consider formal appeals.
This page will detail the process of initiating an appeal. It will be updated in due course to coincide with the issuing of Water Quality Farm Plans and Habitat Assessment Reports.
